In September 2024 I had the chance to spend 3 weeks in Sinop and realize a small project for the Sinopale. I was invited to do something with reused material and during my explorations in the town I found 6 chairs that were about to be burned. From these 6 thrones, made of local poplar wood, I made 5 new ones and left one unchanged, just as Ali Urhan, a craftsman from Sinop, made the original ones 20 years ago. Besides the fun project in a short time, it was great to meet all these good people and to be part of Sinop and this atmosphere for 3 weeks. The one with the round backrest is realised together with Yagmur Guzle.
