The series Well Seasoned Firewood consists, so far, of five sculptural stools all made of old and partly rotten wood, found at the surroundings of factories.
It began with the need for firewood to heat my workshop. The very different, ornamental surfaces of the wood, through weathering and previous use, prevented at some point that I could throw the pieces further into the oven.
That material, coupled with simple archaic drawings and different partly ancient connection techniques without any screws, created this series.
